Sailor Wormhole

Part 2

Cela Lelti was drifting into a state of being awake. She was in a bed, and she was naked. And she could feel a body leaning against her. Looked like she'd slept on the first date. Oh well.

She felt him stir. "Morning." she murmered.

He smiled. His smile faded when he saw the chronometer. "I have an appointment in ten minutes!"

He hastily yanked on his clothes. She sighed, and started dressing herself. Barely had she finished when the doorchime rang. "Come in!" he called.

"First Minister," came Kai Winn's voice. "Are you decent?"

"More or less." he yelled back.

"Does she come in here often?" inquired Lelti.

    "No..."

"I have heard Miss Cela was in your quarters last night-"

"You heard correctly," cut in Lelti. "And before you ask the obvious, yes, we did have sex."

Kai Winn appeared, looking rather astonished. "What's wrong, Eminence?" teased Lelti. "Jealous?"

"Lelti!" exclaimed Edon. He knew Lelti could be brash, but if she was always this disrespectful, they would have to continually fight Winn ot keep thier relationship going.

Winn didn't look that pleased either. "You should be a bit more repsectful, Miss Cela. Especially if you intend to be the First Minister's love."

"I'll consider that," said Lelti, and all three knew she probably would not.

"See to it that you do." Winn said, and started to turn away.

"Or what?" demanded Lelti. "Or you'll forbid us to see each other?"

"No," replied Winn, "but I can strongly discourage it, and it would then be expected for you to end the relationship. When the Kai dissaproves of something..."

"You're going to condemn it, aren't you?" accused Edon. "You're going to force us to seperate!"

"I am not sure what I plan to do-" Winn started.

"Don't give me that!" Edon said angrily. "I'm sick of you interfering in everything I do. Exactly how I live, if I forget to comb my hair when you tell me too, I've committed a mortal sin! Let me tell you right now, this time, say all you want, but..."

"How dare you address me that way!" hissed Winn.

"And you!" he shot back. "Don't try to hide, *Eminence*" here he spat. "We both know you're nothing more then a scheming ambitious thing that must be making Kai Opaka spin in her grave, and I think she," he gestured to Lelti, who was watching them nervously, "knows that too."

"You will not get away with this," she told him, and stomped out.

Having watched this, Lelti knew well what would happen. Edon might let the relationship continue for quite awhile, but he wouldn't hold out forever. Unless she did something. "Let me handle her."

Winn heard Lelti's voice behind her. "How many?"

    She turned. "How many what?"

    "How many Cardassians?"

    "How many Cardassians what?"

Lelti sighed. "How many Cardassians did you sleep with during the occupation?"

"What are you talking about?" demanded Winn.

"It's amazing what you can find out sometimes, isn't it? You acted as a comfort woman, completely willingly. They thought you were in prison when you were actually pleasing the Guls that were oppressing our planet!"

    Winn was speechless.

"Now, I know when to keep quiet. I won't reveal this is you do no more. But, if you interfere with Edon and me, I swear by the visions of Kai Taluno, I will reveal everything, and you will be thrown out into the street like the scum you really are!"

    Winn fled.

Edon watched as Lelti returned. "What did you tell her?" he demanded.

"Nothing much." she replied. "You can just be sure we don't have to worry about her."

"So will you stay down here on Bajor?"

"Yeah, but I have to go back up right now, and get a few things arranged."

Not long after...

Cela Lelti and her new children stepped off the transport on Deep Space 9. They gazed around, taking thier first look at the station. All except Terisne, who was listening to Sailors Mercury and Mars's explanations. They were concluding. She shook her head. "Fight evil? I've already got my sisters to deal with! I understand how someone needs to do it, but it has to be someone else."

"It can't be anyone else." replied Sailor Mercury.

"Hi, Lelti!" came a voice. It was Stormflower. "Welcome back. I see you got a family." She gazed at the four girls.

"And that's not all I got." she said, winking at Stormflower. She then started walking down the corridor, the girls following.

Stormflower bolted after her. "What? What??"

Lelti smiled a completely infuriating smile, and said a completely hated word. "Guess."

Stormflower shook her head. "Never mind. You'll tell me sooner of later. At any rate, I have a present for you." She then produced a red ball of fur.

Lelti picked up the ball, noting it's softness. "What is it?"

    "It's a tribble."

"A tribble? But I thought they were wiped out."

"Well, someone got thier hands on one, and they're currently being bred in captivity. This one," she added, "I got through some of my contacts, but I've tested it myself, and it is completely sterile."

"The ones Quark knows about or the ones he doesn't?"

"The ones he doesn't, of course. And I don't want him to see you with that tribble for several months at least." The tribble in question moved over to Terisne and began sniffing her intensly. "It seems to be taking a particular interest in her," observed Stormflower.

Then it hopped over to the two girls in the back. "And them."

Sailor Mars looked over to Sailor Mercury. Mercury nodded.

"Miss Cela." Lelti turned to see Keiko O'Brien and her two children.

"Mrs. O'Brien. I thought you were down on Bajor."

"I'm up here for a few days."

"Me too. Perhaps we could travel together. As you can see, I've got some kids who would enjoy Molly and Yoshi's company."

"Perhaps." she gazed at the tribble. "I hope that thing is sterile."

    "Stormflower assures me it's sterile."

    "What's it's name?"

"We haven't given it one yet."

"It's Neutrino," the tribble whispered to Terisne. "And don't tell anyone I can speak. They wouldn't believe you anyway."

"I'd call it Neutrino," said Terisne.

"Neutrino?" asked Mara, pronouncing it wrong. The tribble purred at her. "He likes it."

"Hello, Neutrino," said Molly, pronouncing it right.

    "Show off," complained Mara.

The tribble purred at her as well. Suddenly Sailor Mercury stepped forward. "Hello. What's your name?"

"Molly O'Brien. Chief O'Brien is my father."

"I'm Sailor Mercury," said Mercury, delibrately falling behind slightly. Molly joined her.

"There's something strange about her too." Mercury said queitly to Mars.

"Does she feel like the other girl?"

    "Very similar. Not as strong."

"What are you talking about?" asked Molly.

"Not much." said Sailor Mars hasitily.

    "Come on," pleaded Molly.

"We're here," said Lelti, as they entered her quarters on the habitat ring.

"They're not big enough," said Keiko immediately. "Trust me."

"They have to do," replied Lelti. "It's not like we'll be staying here long."

"Do be ready to deal with some cramped and cranky children then," warned Keiko.

That evening....

"How is Liset?" asked Terisne as Genin exited the bedroom set up for the girls.

"Asleep. With any luck, she'll sleep for the rest of the night. Lelti will never know."

"Genin," said Terisne gently, "I know we've survived on our own with father dead and mother delusional for years. I know you don't want to give up caring for Liset all by yourself-"

"That woman can never care for her!" sighed Genin. "She doesn't know her."

"But," continued Terisne, "Lelti is our mother now, and she's a good woman. If you think she doesn't know how to care for Liset, you're going to have to show her."

Genin looked reluctent, and Terisne added, "If you had doubts about Lelti, why didn't you voice them earlier?"

She considered, then said, "It was Mara. She was obviously taken with Lelti, and Lelti with her."

"Sacrificing yourself again?" asked Terisne without a trace of amusment in her voice.

"I can't help it. It's supposed to be a good thing. It's supposed to be a bad thing. Why won't it all make sense?" Genin gripped her head and collasped onto the sofa.

Terisne sat down next to her sister. "It's okay, Genin. You've got a pagh as strong as a disruptor bolt, and it's shooting at itself. I bet if you could stop it and calm it, you'd make a perfect Kai."

"I'll leave that to the Vedeks," replied Genin dryly.

"Go ahead if you want to. But do get some sleep." And Terisne gently shooed Genin into the bedroom.

"I see we're alone now." said Neutrino from where he was over at the table.

"And you finally choose to speak again." replied Terisne. "I was beginning to wonder if I'd imagine it. I mean, tribbles are supposed to eat and breed, not talk to you."

"Eat? Breed? Yeah, I like to do those things. But I like to do other things too."

"Like talk to me. And why only me? Are you the Guardian or something?"

"Actually, I am. And Mars and Mercury here are pretty fortunate too. They're arrival must have had something to do with the emergence of the enemy."

    "What enemy?"

The answer came from Sailors Mars and Sailor Mercury, who had entered. "The Pah-wraiths."

"We told you about our experiences, and about our Silver Millenium. You had something similar. It was centered in the wormhole, and covered the entire galaxy. And it was attacked by your universe's equivelent of the Dark Kingdom. You were sent into the future, just as we were."

    "Equivelent?" asked Terisne.

"Well, we don't know much about it. We got this information from the Prophets, and their memories have faded a bit over the years. They seem to recall the Queen of..whatever they called it, and that she was the sister of the Queen of the Dark Kingdom, but that's all."

At Terisne's slightly puzzled look, Mercury added, "Perhaps we should explain. The Prophets are left over from the Silver Millenium. These phased themselves out of space and time to survive the assualt."

"And that brings us to the point," added Sailor Mars. "The Negaverse bred the Pah-wraiths, another non-corpeal, non-linear race, the hunt out the Prophets. They eventually lost control of them. Now the Pah-wraiths have no objective, except to destroy the Prophets. Your job is to fight the Pah-wraiths."

"And," finished Neutrino, "you can start right now. Say 'Wormhole Warp Power, Make Up'"

Terisne would rather have declined the job. But everyone was starting at her, expecting her all, as they always did. Never mind, Lelti could take care of the children. "Wormhole Warp Power, Make Up!!"

Ival Terisne felt herself changing, felt the power within her, long dormant, awaken. She was Sailor Wormhole, and she would fight evil.

Sailor Wormhole could sense evil nearby. She took off.

"What's going on?" demanded Captian Sisko as he entered into Ops.

"I don't know," replied the officer in charge of Ops during the night shift. "We've got a power drain, something's attacking but there's nothing on the sensors-"

"PAH-WRAITHS!" came a loud voice from the back of Ops.

    Everyone turned.

A Bajoran girl stood there, in a tight-fitting dress. It was a similiar style as the one worn by Sailors Mars and Mercury, but her collar, skirt(which was longer), and boots were yellow, the ribbon that sat over her chest and the one that hung from the back of her waist were of an icy blue color, as was the jewel in her tiara. "How dare you attack these good people! Don't you think they've got enough trouble with the Dominion threat? I won't forgive you! I'll punish you in the name of the Wormhole!" she wasn't sure why she was saying that, except it seemed the natural thing to say. But what now?

Neutrino whispered an answer to her. As the Pah-wraiths started to appear, she waved an arm at them and yelled, "Wormhole Plasma Wave!"

Everyone ducked as she sent a stream of plasma towards the Pah-wraiths, one of them flickered out of existence, several more seem dazed, but the others charged her and the battle was joined.

Sailors Mercury and Mars arrived in Ops. After several seconds, Mars shook her head. "She's losing. She needs help."

"I've got an idea," said Neutrino and flew off.

Molly O'Brien pulled the sheets closer as the room rocked. The station must be under attack she thought. She wished whoever was attacking would just go away.

Suddenly she felt something in her hand.

Neutrino watched as Molly pulled herself up. He was just starting to wonder if the pen was working she she yelled, "Terra Power, Make Up!" Within seconds Sailor Terra stood there, in her own version of the outfit, with a dark purple collar, skirt, and pair of sandels, and light green bows and a light green jewel in her tiara. In her gloved hands she held a long, willow-thin, grey staff with the symbol of the Federation and Vulcan IDIC on the top.

Sailor Wormhole was going down. She was starting to wish she had declined the job when she heard a yell, "You're scaring everyone!"

Everyone, which now consisted of the graveyard shift personnel, the senior staff, who had arrived, the Pah-wraiths, and Sailors Mars, Mercury, and Wormhole, turned to see an angry young girl holding a staff.

"There are over a thousand people living on this station, and you've scared them all stiff! I won't forgive that! In the name of Terra I will punish you!"

This must be Sailor Terra thought the three other Sailors.

Sailor Terra spun her stick about, "Terra Silk Flyout!"

From her staff flew two silk ribbons, which hit the Pah-wraiths, knocking them out. Wielding her staff, Sailor Terra joined the fight.

It wasn't enough. Soon both girls were losing, when a glimmering gold staff with the symbol of Bajor on the top cut between them between thme and thier oppoenents. It was wielded by a Bajoran girl with orangish-red braids. Her dress was the opposite of Sailor Wormhole's:icy blue collar, skirt, and boots, yellow bows and jewel. Somehow the other four Sailors knew at once she was Sailor Bajor.

She must have had a lot of power in her staff, because the Pah-wraiths were crippled by her blow. Sailor Wormhole finished them off easily.

With another sweep of her staff, the senior staff dissapeared, and everyone else were back at thier assigned posts, ignoring them.

"They won't remember," said Sailor Bajor. "You'll have to keep your existence a secret. I'll come by when you can't defeat an enemy by yourself." Then she was gone.

Sailor Mercury spoke next. "You two, Ival Terisne and Molly O'Brien. There should be other scouts showing up sooner or later. I think we should go back to our own universe now. Mercury Power!"

    "Mars Power!"

"Sailor Teleport, take us into the wormhole!"

The wormhole opened sensing the presence of two beings within it. Then it closed as the Prophets sent them back to thier own universe. But only two beings saw. Sailor Wormhole and Sailor Terra watched them go, wondering what adventures, battles, and discoveries lay ahead.

After dropping Molly off, Sailor Wormhole arrived home. Lelti was waiting for her. "I know." she said softly. "It's okay, the others are asleep. You can change back."

When she had done so, Lelti added, "I saw you like that in the Orb vision. I guess I was supposed to. Get some sleep."

"I will," said Terisne with a smile, "mother."

Several centuries earlier in a parallel universe...

"Where have you been?" asked Usagi as Rei and Ami came in. "I've been waiting an hour!"

"That," said Rei, "is a long story."
